Neurosoft Bioelectronics Names Sam Hosovsky Vice President of NeuroAI

Appointment marks Neurosoft's expansion beyond stretchable BCI hardware into neural data and AI models for decoding the human cortex, advancing its goal of turning brain interfaces into products people genuinely need.

GENEVA & NEW YORK — July 7, 2026 — Neurosoft Bioelectronics, a neurotechnology company developing scalable and safe brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), today announced the appointment of Sam Hosovsky as Vice President of NeuroAI. Hosovsky will lead the company's NeuroAI strategy and the neural foundation models set to power the next generation of high-performance brain interfaces, extending Neurosoft's mission from the stretchable electrodes it places on the cortex to the intelligence that makes the resulting data useful.

The appointment marks the next stage of Neurosoft's evolution, broadening from stretchable BCI hardware into the neural data and AI systems that turn recordings into real-world products, targeting a range of neural activity across the conditions its platform addresses, including motor restoration for people with paralysis. That work positions Neurosoft as a bridge between computational neuroscience and machine learning, running in both directions: bringing frontier AI to the problem of brain decoding, and the open problems of brain decoding back to frontier AI: an AI4Brain and Brain4AI exchange that few organizations are positioned to enable.

"Our soft electrode platform gives us neural data at a quality and scale no other approach can safely match, but data and hardware are only half the story," said Nicolas Vachicouras, PhD, CEO and Co-Founder of Neurosoft Bioelectronics. "Turning that data into products people genuinely need, such as restoring movement for people with paralysis, demands as much ambition in AI as in engineering. Sam has spent his whole career at that intersection, always starting from the end user. Bringing him on to lead NeuroAI is the natural next chapter for Neurosoft."

Hosovsky joins Neurosoft after nearly 5 years building software for intracranial BCI users through the uCat App, working alongside leading motor-BCI startups, research laboratories, clinicians, and patient organizations. His work has centered on translating intracranial signals into practical products for people with paralysis, giving him a rare perspective that spans the end-user experience, AI, and neural decoding, a perspective he set out in the first book dedicated to intracranial motor-BCI applications, "Your Cortical Avatar Technology."

"For nearly a decade I've been searching for a BCI that could reliably decode dexterous, whole-body movement and truly improve the lives of people with paralysis, at a scale that could eventually reach millions," said Hosovsky. "The field has spent years perfecting hardware; the opportunity now is to start with the user and work backwards to the technology. Neurosoft is the only interface that can chronically span all of the cortical areas involved in movement at once. Our challenge is to interpret that newfound orchestra as a coherent symphony."

Before joining Neurosoft, Hosovsky built a career architecting software platforms at the intersection of artificial intelligence, life sciences, and emerging technologies, spanning laboratory automation, clinical-trial infrastructure, generative AI, and extended reality, leading multidisciplinary engineering organizations and delivering production systems adopted by global pharmaceutical and research organizations. He is also a Partner at Jumpspace Ventures, one of the world's most active brain-

technology investment firms, where he leads technical due diligence across high-resolution BCIs, connectome-inspired AI, neural foundation models, and neural tissue engineering.
